The holiday season is a deeply awaited time across the globe. The time of the year spent in the company of family, engulfed in festivities and delight, effuses joy like none other. Serena Williams too, seemed to have spent her Christmas Eve in the company of her husband, Alexis Ohanian and their daughter, Olympia. A traditional yet lively Christmas Eve that the family spent cooking and baking extensively, was bespeckled with Olympia’s mischief.

The Williams-Ohanian household documented their Christmas preparations on social media, as the father-daughter duo took the reins in the kitchen. However, as Ohanian Sr. was invested in perfecting delicacies, his little helper was busy zinging the menu with her adorable capers.

The Reddit co-founder took to Instagram to display his “disappointment” towards his sous-chef.

Christmas arrangements were underway in the Williams-Ohanian family as their 5-year-old mischief-maker was busy leaving her mark.

Ohanian, in no time, shared the proof of Olympia’s activity with his followers on his Instagram account. In which, a small hand with yellow nails (Olympia), is holding a broken cookie. The photograph was hilariously captioned, “betrayed by my own flesh and blood.”

The photograph seemed to indicate that Olympia had either scrumped a cookie from the batch meant for display or guests (haven’t we all been guilty of this?), or had ‘mishandled’ one that Alexis Ohanian Sr. had so meticulously baked.

Either way, the blithely captioned photograph managed to give the followers and fans a glimpse of the mirthful events of the power-family’s Christmas Eve. 

Daddy-Daughter collaborations are a routine feature at the Williams-Ohanian household

It’s a treat to watch the father-daughter duo cooking together, which they often do. Alexis Ohanian frequently shares snippets of their shared culinary adventures through his social media handles. On one occasion, it was Olympia who was completing her father’s cooking.

Recently, the Reddit Co-founder shared a time-lapse were he was making outlines of pancakes, while Olympia filled them up with colorful batter. The clip captioned , “Our first daddy-daughter pancake collab!“, was well-received by their fanbase, and for some, even served as an inspiration to do more activities with their own children.
