Tennis is one of the few sports in the world which is reliant on the individual. But doubles tennis brings teamwork to the fore, and it becomes imperative to enjoy success. Just like with any team sport, communication is an important aspect of doubles. However, players can sometimes forget this pivotal aspect. Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula doubles partners ranked 3 and 2, respectively, are on a roll at the Roland Garros. But despite their ranking, the two still suffered from a communication issue during their doubles stint. It resulted in a hilarious blooper that happened during their latest outing on the Parisian clay.
Although the two had a blooper at Roland Garros, they have a good bond off-court, which helps them win doubles matches unimpeded. They have been partners only for a year and have already developed a great bond with each other.

Even though Pegula was ousted from the French Open in singles, she is still fighting for a trophy in doubles. With her partner Coco Gauff, Pegula will aim to shoot for the top. While the two make a great team, errors always have a way of taking place.
During their third-round match against Elena-Gabriela Ruse and Marta Kostyuk, the two were aiming to return a ball which resulted in an event which can be added to a sports blooper compilation. While hitting a shot, the usual communication between the two failed, and their rackets clashed as Gauff hit the ball.
