Erika’s tennis prowess started to garner attention and before long, she found herself playing on the International Tennis Federation (ITF) circuit. Her talents were rewarded as she won a doubles title and also added three singles crowns to her kitty.

Right now, Erika, despite being the elder sister, is ranked much lower than Mirra. In singles, Erika finds herself as the World No. 113, and in doubles, she is a lowly World No. 281.

Is Mirra Andreeva’s sister playing at the 2024 Australian Open?

Erika, despite her undeniable tennis talent, hasn’t made as much of a mark as her younger sister. However, that doesn’t mean Erika hasn’t achieved anything. So far, Erika has earned $465,920 in prize money as a WTA pro across both singles and doubles categories. In singles, she has won 144 matches and lost 73 of them, though she’s yet to win a title.

Unfortunately for Erika, unlike her sister, she couldn’t make it into the main draw of the 2024 Australian Open. While she played in the qualifiers, she lost against Polina Kudermetova in straight sets, which denied her entry into the main draw. In any case, the sister act of Erika and Mirra is one to watch out for as women’s tennis evolution continues.
