8 Years to the Start of Their Fairytale Love, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Rekindle Romance in Style With a Glistening Date on Their ‘Babymoon’ in Rome

In 2017, tennis legend Serena Williams tied the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The New Orleans wedding was a lavish affair and the who’s who of the sports and entertainment industries were in attendance. The wedding took place two months after Serena gave birth to the couple’s daughter, Olympia. It’s 2023 now, and the couple is ready to welcome their second child in a matter of months. Right now, the Ohanian-Williams family is in Europe, and their first stop was in Paris. From Paris, the couple made their way to Rome, a city where it all began for them. Unsurprisingly, visiting the city brought back wonderful memories from the past of Ohanian.

Ohanian took to Instagram to share a moment from their dinner in Rome. The tech entrepreneur and investor also showed off his nifty selfie skills as the couple waited for the food to arrive.

Both Williams and Ohanian are eagerly awaiting the birth of their second child. However, as they wait, they are making the most of their free time by traveling around the world. In his Instagram post, Ohanian referred to their Rome trip as ‘Babymoon 2’.

The post showed Ohanian and Williams patiently waiting for dinner at a restaurant in the Italian capital. As they waited, Williams asked Ohanian to capture a selfie. Ohanian could have gone for a straightforward selfie, but the innovator in him woke up.

The tech entrepreneur decided to do something unconventional instead of sticking to the selfie norms. He noticed that there were a couple of gigantic mirrors behind him and proceeded to capture the selfie. All in all, it was a candid moment for the couple in a city they will always hold dear to them.

The Roman roots of Alexis and Serena’s happy marriage

2015 was the year when Ohanian and Williams ran into each other for the first time. It was the month of May, and both Ohanian and Williams were in Rome. Coincidentally, they were both staying at the famous Cavalieri Hotel. One day during breakfast, Ohanian suddenly decided to sit next to Williams and began chatting. Their brief conversation ended with Williams inviting Ohanian to the 2015 French Open.
