The 30-year-old is currently juggling her sporting life as a professional in two sports – namely tennis and pickleball. In a series of photos posted on her official Instagram handle, Bouchard was witnessed setting the dancefloor ablaze with her impeccable dance moves. In the moments captured by the Canadian, she shared snapshots of her squad, the venue, and overall highlights of the auspicious day. Zhao, much like her compatriot, also enjoys the status of a professional tennis player. However, the 29-year-old hasn’t had much luck touring the circuit this season. While she mostly performs in the ITF, her most recent outing came at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. The former World No. 131 was eliminated in the grass-court event’s qualifiers.

In 2014, Bouchard rose to fame after producing head-turning results at the season’s SW19. She became the first Canadian player to reach the summit clash of a major singles tournament before eventually finishing runner-up to Czech professional Petra Kvitova. However, this year, the 30-year-old’s journey hasn’t done justice to her past adventures.

Eugenie Bouchard had a decisive end to her tennis career in 2023

In the 2023 season, Bouchard decided to switch careers when she announced herself as a professional Pickleball player. With this, the former World No. 5 saw an emphatic end to her tennis journey. She was an integral part of Team Canada and assisted her country to pocket the Billie Jean King Cup for the first time in the event’s history last year.

Despite savoring immense success, Bouchard hasn’t tuned into the sport much in 2024. In May, the Canadian marked her appearance at the ITF USA 15A where she presented a formidable front. However, her clay court campaign concluded after she retired from her quarterfinal date against Kayla Day. Furthermore, she also participated in the season’s inaugural Netflix Slam.
