Emma Raducanu started the season riding high on form and energy from her 2021 US Open victory. However, because of multiple injuries, she failed to secure any noteworthy runs, as expected, in 2022. She had a rough year, but the 20-year-old seems to take it as an experience and is optimistic about her future.

Raducanu is giving her body some rest and is entertaining herself with other activities. Recently she collaborated with the sports car giant, Porsche. Here is the amazing collection of pictures which generated from the partnership.

How Emma Raducanu and Porche’s collaboration panned out

Raducanu, in order to pay homage to legends of women’s tennis who are responsible for the fame and following that the WTA enjoys today, joined hands with Porsche. “Back in the summer, Emma Raducanu met photographer Radka Leitmeritz and a 1965 Porsche 911 at the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone.” The German automobile company shared.

Thereafter, the caption read, “The pictures form part of the sensational Court Supremes photo project, an artistic homage to women’s tennis.”

Whereas others pointed out how she is losing her focus. “When young budding tennis stars start modeling for their sponsors… just saying.” Another singing in the same tune, wrote, “Too many distractions from becoming the best you can be at tennis Emma!”

Speaking of mixed reactions, Raducanu’s ventures have become a matter of debate, splitting the opinions of the tennis world. Her recent collaboration with Meta for promoting their virtual reality games also garnered similar reactions.

Raducanu’s latest injury

The Brit has been trying to secure a title since the start of the season, but fate seems to have other plans. Her year started with a wrist injury in the Australian Open. Then she struggled with a stiff back in the Summer Doubles and a gruesome back injury made her step out of the clay-court based Italian Open.

Following that, she suffered a side strain injury in the first event of the grass swing. That probably played a part in Raducanu‘s initial round defeat in her home Grand Slam and the US Open. However, her misery didn’t end there. She fell prey to a glute injury when she was just a step away from the finals of the Korea Open.
