Emma Raducanu is still a fan of tennis. However, her focus has been to do more than just watch tennis on the television. “I didn’t actually watch any tennis,” Raducanu told Prime Video Sport (Prime Video Sport, 2022). “I was just resting and recovering and focusing on my rehab. I didn’t pick up a racket for a couple months.”

The 19-year-old elaborated that she wanted to give her full attention to the rehabilitation process and avoid any distractions. When interviewed, “And have you been able to watch any tennis over the last couple of months? Have you watched any us open?”. Raducanu responded saying, “I didn’t watch any of the US Open. When the Slams were happening and it was too raw. You know the feeling of playing, you knew the feeling of walking out onto the court. It’s a bit close to home, so I stayed away from the US Open.” Yes, it’s true, Emma Raducanu misses tennis too much to even watch it without being able to play it.
