18-year-old Emma Raducanu stormed the headlines after winning the US Open 2021 title. The British rising star showed exquisite gameplay to bag her first major in New York. Facing Leylah Fernandez in an all teen final at the US Open 2021, Emma Raducanu didn’t look uncomfortable during any point of the time in the match. She thrashed her opponent in straight sets and thus, conquered the title.

Raducanu created history at the US Open 2021 after becoming the first qualifier to win a Grand Slam in the history of the sport. As a result, the International Tennis Hall of Fame asked for her US Open 2021 outfit as memorabilia. Notably, Raducanu decided to give her outfit to the organization.

When Raducanu stunned the tennis world in New York

Even though Raducanu earned a huge name after her incredible run at the Wimbledon Championships 2021, nobody really expected her to win the US Open 2021 title. However, she beat all the odds and won it despite entering the tournament as a qualifier.
Surprisingly, she didn’t drop a single set at the Grand Slam. If one includes her three qualifying matches, the 18-year-old actually won an astonishing 20 sets in a row to conquer New York.
