The two-time Grand Slam winner has parted ways with coach Patrick Mouratoglou since last year. Their partnership began in 2022 when she encountered the hardship of testing positive for the illegal substance Roxadustat. She also faced another doping problem last year due to anomalies in her athlete’s biological passport, which is a system designed to continuously monitor a range of blood indicators to identify possible doping breaches.

But after taking matters into her own hands, she had a successful appeal over her doping suspension, marking her return to the tennis court. But now the biggest question arises: who will she play under, as she has no coach at this moment? Will it be one of her previous coaches, such as Cahill?

Recently, an official Twitter handle of the Romanian tennis news shared a picture of the 32-year-old tennis star sitting by the court with Daren Cahill, practicing her heart out for the American swing. While the Australian tennis coach is already with Jannik Sinner, he shares an old connection with Halep.

Not only that, she will face Paula Badosa in the first round of the tournament; she was seen hitting the practice court with former top 300 ATP player João Monteiro. Subsequently, in that video, it was her forehead that raised concern, but everything looked amazing on the court.

On the other hand, recently even the 58-year-old tennis coach talked about the two-time Grand Slam champion’s struggle with the doping incident.
