‘Miss Seeing Queen’ – Serena Williams’ Husband Alexis Ohanian’s Incredible Way to Commend the ‘GOAT’ Army

The year 2022 was filled with many memorable moments happened for tennis fans. However, there was some massive heartbreak as well, and Serena Williams’ retirement from professional tennis will certainly rank high in any fans’ minds. During the last Grand Slam of the year, the US Open, the 23-time Grand Slam champion, walked away from professional tennis.

Recently, while wishing a new year to the world, Williams’ husband and Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, had reserved his special love for the 23-time Grand Slam winner’s fans, aka, ‘RenasArmy’ (as he puts it).

On New Year’s Eve, one of the Williams’ fans tweeted their favorite picture of the year. The picture was imperatively memorable, as it was from the retirement of the 23-time grand Slam champion in a sold-out stadium. The fan tweeted, “Easily my favorite picture of the year. 💯”

In response to this, the Reddit Co-founder tweeted, “I love #RenasArmy – hope you all have a great new year”

Subsequently, this prompted many heart-warming responses from #RenasArmy. One fan proudly flaunted being a part of the fan base since the Serena turned professional, and said “Member since she turned a pro :)”

While the other member of Renas Army were missing her in action and said, “Happy New Year! Miss seeing Queen – Serena! However, her smile is much brighter!” Well, he is not the only one who is missing the American tennis legend in action (We all are!).

While another fan expressed his/her gratitude to the owner of Angel City FC for his love and tweeted, “thank you, Alexis, we’ll always be here for Serena❤️.”

While others wished the Ohanian Sr. family the best and responded with a warm tweet.

Undoubtedly, the 23-time Grand Slam champion’s ‘army’ consists of some of the most fans in the sporting world. And one could expect nothing less from them who stood by the GOAT for over 2 decades.
