Coco Gauff is currently having a terrific time on her much-deserved vacation. The teenage American sensation spent her New Year trying her hands at adventure sports in Auckland, New Zealand. Recently, en route to the Australian Open, Gauff took a detour to spend some time with family. The budding tennis star unwinded her last week of 2022 on Waiheke Island before heading to Auckland Sky Tower, for a sky jump in New Zealand. And the 18-year-old later shared a descriptive post on Instagram, taking her fans through her ‘new shenanigan’ step-by-step.

The teenager played marvelous tennis last year, giving terrific performances, in both singles and doubles. Consequently, gaining top ranking spots in both categories. Currently, she is ranked World No.7 in singles and World No.4 in doubles.

Coco Gauff’s hilarious description of her ‘new shenanigan’

Recently, after ‘jumping from the sky’ into 2023, Gauff shared an Instagram post and story  captioning, “new year, new shenanigans.” The teenager described her fun and thrilling experience of sky jumping from Auckland Sky Tower. Dressed in the orange sky walking/jumping, and safety outfit, the World No.7 was first seen standing at the top of the tower, all set to jump. And when she starts jumping down, the fun and thrilling expression turns a bit scary as she tries to use her hands to navigate mid-air before letting gravity take over.

And the speedy free-fall transforms Gauff’s expression from scary to exciting and back to thrilling, again. After capturing her hilarious moments in the camera, the American tennis star, captioned one of the snippets, in which she is open-mouthed and wide-eyed, as, “When you realize, you effed up. Visual Representation of my soul leaving my body😭”

However scary the expression seems now, the daring free-fall was surely a fun and thrilling experience for the teenager. And certainly not the only one of the year, as she has already captioned, that in this new year there would be new ‘shenanigans’.
