Roger Federer had played in custom shoes by Nike, exclusively made for him, ever since his career took off. With his gut-wrenching retirement in 2022, an era has ended. With him, the personalization of sneakers was almost set to be gone till Gauff stepped in. Her sports shoe collection was released before the US Open in 2022. She became the only player to have customized sneakers after Federer’s retirement in September 2022.

The American signed a multi-year deal with ‘New Balance’ when she was just 18 years old.
