This year Wimbledon Championships witnessed shocking exits of promising players at an early stage. Liam Broady knocked out Casper Ruud in his second round. Paula Badosa withdrew from the tournament due to injury despite promising an exciting Mixed doubles with beau Stefanos Tsistipas. Andy Murray was also stunned by the Greek icon. But Coco Gauff‘s exit in the first round stunned the world the most.

The young American talent lost to Sofia Kenin, exiting as early as she entered. But Tennis players these days are finding their own ways to relax and come back even stronger. Gauff did not let the loss take away little joys of life from her. She is enjoying the events in London and sharing the stories of the same with the world.

The nineteen-year-old attended the concert of ‘The Weekend’ in ‘London Stadium’ and took some time off from all the pressure. She took to her Instagram story to share the update with her fans, and we even spotted Caty McNally, who, too, exited the tournament in her first round of singles against Jodie Anna Burrage. It seems only fitting that these two players take some time off together to kickstart their doubles.

The story also featured one of the most loved classics of the singer, ‘Tears in the Rain,‘ from the album, ‘Kiss Land,’ released in 2013. Gauff would have been just 9 years when the song was released, and this must have brought back childhood memories to her. This shows the appreciation of Gauff for timeless classics. The teenage sensation is always drawn to art and nature, and her Instagram profile is proof of this.

While Gauff enjoyed the concert, she particularly posted the clips of two songs that ‘The Weekend’ nailed. The second song is ‘I was never there,’ from the album, ‘My Dear Melancholy,’ released in 2018. She captioned another story, “the set design,” and let the beauty of the shot she captured do the work of defining how beautiful the song and the set are.

Though Gauff can no longer take part in the singles, she still has doubles to play with Jessica Pegula. The twenty-nine-year-old is in her fourth round of Wimbledon. She will face Lesia Tsurenko in tomorrow’s match. Gauff – Pegula will play Aliaksandra Sasnovich – Kamilla Rakhimova tonight in their first round of doubles.
