As Serena donned her Gucci, the former World No. 1 was in high spirits after landing in Miami, Florida. Having been longtime friends with DJ Khaled, she was there to extend her support and best wishes to a cause that was dear to him. The charity golf event, whose proceeds will help the WTB Foundation, flagged off its inaugural start this year. Yet, it was no unfamiliar territory for the celebrity star Serena Williams. The fashion-savvy tennis champion, who is expecting her next child, put her best foot forward at her old friend’s event.

For the event, she chose to forgo her usual furs and feathers drama and traded in for a simple black bodycon dress. Layered atop that was the striking statement piece–an electric red sleeveless gilet from the iconic Italian luxury house, Gucci. The tennis star tied the entire outfit together with matching black and red sneakers, a classic black pair of oversized sunglasses, and an emblazoned black cap.
