Richard had Venus Williams’ career all mapped out
Recently, Williams sat down for an interview and spoke about how he always wanted a daughter and planned her career beforehand. He said, “I remember wanting a girl so bad that someone said to me how you know you not gonna have a boy. I said oh no, I am having a girl, and I did have a girl.”

“My wife went to have a baby at Lynwood hospital in California, Los Angeles and we had to take her back home. And the next day I went back with her and it seemed like everyday she had to go but no baby. Well, one day I was sitting next to her screaming and yelling as loud as I could tell. So the doctor came and said don’t get too excited. You haven’t had a baby yet.”
“But I was excited. I was scared simply because I realized that I didn’t want Venus to have the same problems that I have had and the system there in America. But I made a promise to myself I’d never be afraid again. So yes, I planned their career long before they were born.”
