Maria Sharapova encountered numerous hardships to make it big in her career. From leaving her country, Russia, when she was less than 10 years old and facing a temporary ban from tennis due to the use of a prohibited substance, she came a long way to climb the ladder of success. However, her talent and wins were snubbed by her former manager, Max Eisenbud. He looked down at the Russian legend and disregarded her as one of the worst players he had ever witnessed.

As expected, the internet went berserk with this statement, and Sharapova’s fans did not spare the IMG agent. Twitterattis reminded the IMG Vice President how much he benefited from Sharapova and slammed him for the negative comments.

Fans have their own way of destroying anyone who speaks ill of their icon. Though Eisenbud owed his career to Sharapova, in ‘The Tennis Podcast,’ he degraded Sharapova by saying, “I mean, I tell people all the time, she’s probably the worst athlete that and I’ll tell her if she was here, the worst athlete to ever win a Grand Slam. And she can’t throw she can’t pass. She has no touch.”

This got on fans’ nerves, and Twitterattis came in unison to display their power and shredded Eisenbud’s statement to pieces.
