He also talked about the players who have never played on the PGA tour and went straight to the LIV Golf series. “Some players have never got a chance to even experience it. They have gone from the amateur ranks right into that organization.”

After hearing him speak, Navratilova quoted the tweet with the video of Tiger’s press conference and wrote, “And Tiger would be right.”

Earlier in a statement, Tiger Woods criticized another legend, Phil Mickelson, for preferring the LIV Golf series over the PGA Tour. Even then, the legendary Czech-American tennis player applauded Woods, as she tweeted, “Good to hear!”

Notably, this has been an ongoing debate over the last few months regarding the Saudi revolution in Golf. Many players are choosing the LIV Golf series over the PGA tour due to the huge prize money on offer, which is why former players like Navratilova criticized those players.
