Serena Williams is one of the most accomplished players still active on the circuit. When she is not demolishing opponents on the court, Serena occupies herself with a myriad of other ventures and projects. One such project was the making of the film King Richard in collaboration with her sister Venus Williams.
The movie, which was initially released on November 19, 2021 by Warner Bros pictures, has already made 30 million on the box office and received overall positive reviews from both critics and audiences alike.

Now, given that the award session is around, fans are waiting with bated breath to see if the biopic focusing on Serena and Venus Williams’ father Richard Williams will bag any Oscars or not.
Today Serena Williams posted about the good news that King Richard has managed to be nominated in six categories at the Oscars- Best Actor for Will Smith, Best Supporting Actor for Aunjanue Ellis, Best Original Screenplay for Zach Baylin, Best Film Editing for Pamela Martin, Best Original Song for ‘Be Alive’ by Beyonce, and Best Picture.
