Venus Williams has enthralled tennis fans throughout her career. Since turning professional in 1994 as a 14-year-old, the American soon began to stamp her authority in women’s tennis, winning her first WTA title at 17. Further, in her debut appearance at the US Open in 1997, she reached the finals but lost out to Martina Hingis in the summit clash.

Since then, Venus has gone on to win seven Grand Slam singles titles, including five at Wimbledon and a couple at the US Open. She has had tremendous success in doubles too, partnering with her younger sister, Serena Williams. The two have gone on to win 14 major doubles titles. Additionally, they have also clinched three Olympic gold medals.
