Serena Williams is gearing up for the final showdown of her tennis career which has spanned for a whopping 27 years on the WTA tour. The player is practicing at the Big Apple to gear up for the hard-court major. The upcoming US Open will be her last grand slam event, after which she will bid farewell to the sport.
Williams announced her retirement earlier this month, therefore fans are thronging, even during her practice sessions, to watch the GOAT on her final tour.

Serena gears up for the US Open
The 23-time grand slam champion recently practiced in Flushing Meadows. She played some intense rallies and even busted a lung to reach a drop shot. The player shared the new look of her US Open kit as she gears up for the last time.
