It would have been a fulfilling feeling for Taylor Townsend, a tennis player, a mother, and now a Grand Slam winner. After a topsy-turvy journey over the last few years transitioning between an athlete and motherhood and back to being an athlete, it has been a successful run for the American tennis star. However, as eager as she was to go back and have a trophy party with her son, it seems that the party was visited by a ‘cookie monster,’ and the player is now looking for some help!

It was an absolutely perfect grass swing of her “second career” for the American tennis star. Away from her son to do some “winning,” was what Townsend was looking for. And the mother was not to be disappointed, as she claimed the doubles Wimbledon title with her partner, Katerina Siniakova. However, the win is in the past now, as celebration continues in her household, as a monster interrupts them!

In a recent story/video shared by Townsend on her official Instagram account, she is seen with her son in her arms, who has wrecked the house during their party and the American tennis star doesn’t know what to do. She captioned the video, “Wrecks the house, but then is so sweet … so like what do you do?” It seems the little monster has inherited his mother’s energy!

But fret not, as Townsend certainly knows how to deal with his little and chaotic shenanigans! She hugs the ‘Cookie Monster’ tightly before rocking him back and forth. As the “Cookie Monster over here is crying for help.” Before putting him down on the ground, the mother-son duo dances to their heart’s content!

Taylor Townsend’s second innings in the tennis circuit, bound by a promise to son

Nothing is more beautiful than the bond of motherhood! Taylor Townsend put her tennis career on hold to start her family. And now to play the grass slam, she was separated from her son. A necessary evil, as no mother loves to be away from their toddlers for a long time. However, she made a promise tone back with trophy, and hence the party ensues after the Wimbledon crown!

Elaborating on the promise made to her son, Townsend said, “I love you so much. I’ll see you in a couple of weeks and I am gonna do some winning. And then when I come back we are gonna have a trophy party, okay. I promise!” This was the promise made, and now fulfilled. After winning, as she was eager to share her glory with her child. “My word is everything to me. This is means the world to me to be able to show him what mama did,” said the proud momma after victory!
