Despite not winning a Grand Slam, Anna Kournikova, one of the legendary players, became famous for her Tennis and acting. The Russian did not give up when she was forced to retire at an early age due to injuries. She lives a serene life with Enrique Iglesias and her three kids. Even before Serena Williams revolutionized fashion in Tennis, Kournikova did her part by inspiring people with her game and fashion choices.

One of the most inspired players from the 42-year-old’s fashion choices is Caroline Wozniacki. The Danish star revealed one of the craziest and life-turning feats she did when she was just a little girl in her recent interview.

Talking to Vogue, Wozniacki revealed that when she was ten years old, Wozniacki was given the contact number of the Adidas Denmark CEO. She called him and spoke, “Hi, my name is Caroline Wozniacki. I play tennis. I’m really good. I won the national championships—six-love, six-love in all my matches. I’m going to be number one in the world, and I think you would like to get in on this early.” (Clearly, I did not suffer from a lack of confidence.)’

She added further, “Soon after that, I would be sent the Adidas catalogs every season, and I could pick whatever I wanted. My favorites were these navy shorts with a belt and a navy sleeveless V-neck shirt, tucked in, that Kournikova wore. I started wearing that, along with this one-sleeve dress that I saw on Martina Hingis, which I loved, and so much more. I was in heaven.”
