American tennis star Coco Gauff has played fine tennis in the past few months. After having a great 2022 season, the American rising star made a solid start to her Australian Open campaign and made it to the fourth round. However, Latvian tennis star Jelena Ostapenko got the better of her to secure a place in the quarterfinal.

While her singles campaign ended disappointingly, the American still has a chance to win the doubles title. Addressing the media after her loss, Gauff was visibly sad. However, she showed great maturity while handling the questions.

While she had the option to stop it then and there, the brave 18-year-old decided to keep going. As the clip went viral on the internet, fans are lauding the American tennis star.

Former world number one Victoria Azarenka was among the first to acknowledge the maturity of the young tennis star. She also lauded her and wished her luck for the future.
