Kerber takes on Muchova today for a place in the semifinals. Although the German exited in the first round of the Australian Open and French Open earlier this year, her comeback in this Grand Slam is looking strong.

During her initial years on the WTA tour, one of her major adversaries came in the form of Ana Ivanovic. The former Serbian tennis star faced off against Kerber in various tournaments, which forged their friendship. Ahead of Kerber‘s quarterfinal, the former World No. 1 put out a story to wish the German ahead of her showdown with Muchova.
