But recently, the 23-time Grand Slam champion was having her own fan moment, for none other than the world-renowned R&B singer, Rihanna. The announcement of Rihanna performing at the Super Bowl half-time has got every Rihanna fan excited; be it the young Coco Gauff or the American tennis legend, Serena.

Moreover, Williams owns a minority stake in the NFL team, Miami Dolphins, which would have surely contributed to her excitement for the Super Bowl. But it looks like Williams is more excited about experiencing Rihanna perform alive after a long time.

The ‘Queen of the Court’ detailed about the same in an exclusive interview with Essence. She said, “I sure hope she does [“Lift Me Up”]. It makes me cry every time.” She is surely looking forward to doing away with the disappointment of her team not making it to the final showdown at the beats of the pop-singer!

She further confessed her admiration for the singer, “I’m such a massive Rihanna fan. I just was so happy that she did that song for [Black Panther: Wakanda Forever] and I’m so happy that she is doing the Super Bowl.”

However, the founder of Serena Ventures didn’t turn out to be a new Rihanna fan. Over the years, she has made her love for the popstar evident. Last year, she shared another Rihanna fan moment after the release of the singer’s Black Panter 2 album.
