However, the season-opening major, the Australian Open, proved to be a disappointment for the prodigy. But the teenager has not let that affect her, as she remained as lively as ever. Moreover, the 18-year-old was excited about Rihanna’s Super Bowl half-time performance; as we saw her predicting the sequence of Rihanna’s entry songs. And guess what, the teenager almost nailed her prediction.

However, the R&B singer’s mesmerizing performance certainly had its effect on the World No.6. She took to social media, early morning, praising the singer in her own unique way. But not everyone appreciated the American prodigy’s Rihanna pun.

Coco Gauff attracts diverging responses from fans

It seems that World No. 6 didn’t shut her eyes last night. And her recent Tweets on Rihanna are proof of that. Post the R&B singer’s performance at the Super Bowl half-time show, Coco Gauf put an appreciation post in tennis jargon. She wrote, “Rihanna has more hits than tennis balls I’ve hit” and complemented this tweet with another one soon after. She further added, “lol goodnight. I just thought this was funny”, indicating that the young tennis star had a blast last night.

However, her little Rihanna pun was not appreciated by a few tennis fans. Many criticized the 18-year-old’s light-hearted tweet.
