When a fan on Twitter focussed on Gauff’s shortcomings on the court to mock her, she shut them down in the most ingenious way. Despite the mocking intent of the tweet, the rising American tennis star didn’t let it get to her.

The tweet read, “Coco Gauff is a better football player than tennis the way she puts every ball in the net smh.”

As Messi finally claimed the World Cup, the Argentine star finally ended the GOAT debate (with Cristiano Ronaldo) in soccer. Even the tennis star couldn’t resist the temptation to not indulge in the FIFA fervor.
