It’s heart-warming for the players and the whole team when fans go out of their way to support their favorites. A similar incident happened for the team Angel City FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). Unsurprisingly, the co-owner of the team and Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, couldn’t be more proud of the team’s fanbase.

Fans are imperative to any sport and particularly for the fans of a newly established team. Ohanian knows this fact to be true and has done everything in his power to make the fans of his women’s soccer club feel special.

On numerous occasions, players go out of their way to make it a special occasion for their massive fan following. However, there are also times when fans remember their teams while doing their daily routine. And a similar incident happened with the Angel City FC lead investor, Alexis Ohanian, when a fan tweeted a pic of an unexpected coincidence. The pic was of a mini cooper car at a gas station with the plate numbered in the alphabets that constituted the initials of the team ‘ACFC.’

However, what delighted the ‘Mayor of Internet’ was that fans remember the team in such small but meaningful ways. And the Reddit co-founder, tweeted, “We have the best fans.”

What is more interesting about the $100 million worth team is that the youngest owner of the team is none other than the daughter of the power couple, Olympia Ohanian. And the ‘lioness’ has been frequently sighted in the stadium, accompanying her father for the matches.

Olympia Ohanian is the youngest owner of a professional sports club in which her father has a major stake, along with his wife and American tennis legend, Serena Williams. Ohanian has always led by example. And here too, the Angel City FC co-owner has set an example by including Olympia’s name in the investors’ list, and paving the way for the growth of women’s soccer in the United States.
