And recently, the ‘Ice Maiden’ came out in support of the bodybuilding and Hollywood legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife, Maria Shriver. Chris Evert expresses her disappointment and anger
During a live talk on CNN, the renowned host, Don Lemon, made a controversial comment about the Republican Nikki Haley. However, Don’s remark soon took a controversial turn, when the host, while talking about politicians, targeted Haley by saying that she wasn’t in her prime. Moreover, he further justified what he meant by prime. Lemon clarified that Halley was no longer in her 20s or 30s or 40s. When another host, Poppy Harlow, asked Don whether he was indicating prime as in for child-bearing. he indirectly confirmed.

After watching this, a disappointed Maria Shriver tweeted, “What the?? This is beyond sexist and beyond insulting to millions and millions of women.” And the 18-time Grand Slam champion was not far away from extending her support to the remark. She used just one word to express her anger and disappointment, “Disrespectful…😠😠😠”

Undoubtedly, strong support from a strong woman matters a lot. And Evert has done that for a long time. Once she stood by a young American tennis sensation when protests rocked the whole country.
