“And I think for me it is important to not be colour blind in race and you know I think for me the whole thing is I don’t see colours, a little bit dumb, because we are all different we should be able to see the differences we have and that what makes the world great,” Gauff said in a podcast interview.

By seeing colors as a unifying force rather than a dividing one, Gauff demonstrates her stance against racism. While talking about the ethnic diversity of the world, she said, “If everybody was the same, it would be, I feel like boring.”
