“So Buzzing for This”: Wrestling Fans Go Berserk as 37-Year-Old AEW Wrestler Announced for Bloodsport 9

Former WWE Superstar shocked the wrestling world when he debuted in AEW as Jon Moxley at Double of Nothing PPV. Since then the former three time AEW World Champion has been on a ride in Tony Khan’s company and also in few other promotions. Working in AEW grants him the opportunity to work in other companies and recently he has been announced for a match outside AEW.

Josh Barnett announced on Sunday afternoon on his Twitter the return of Jon Moxley at GCW Bloodsport 9. The event will take place on March 30 2023 and fans are double excited now, with AEW stars involvement.

Barnett wrote, “What would a Bloodsport show be with out one of its staples? A man of controlled chaos. A man without fear of any challenger. 

He added, “A man born to fight. Jon Moxley is back at Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport 9 Watch it live on @FiteTV”

Moxley’s opponent is yet to be decided, but a banger match already expected by the hardcore wrestling fans. The wrestling world is demanding Mox to face Timothy Thatcher at Bloodsport 9. We’ll find out his opponent in a few days as the promotion announces it.

After leaving WWE, Moxley not only made a name in AEW but also in several other promotions and GCW is one of those. However, this will ‘The Lunatic Fringe’s’ fifth appearance at a Bloodsport event.

Prior to this, he was a part of Bloodsport 3,5,6 and 8. The wrestling fans are happy and the below reactions confirm the same.

He is one of the wrestlers who has won Championships in WWE, AEW and NJPW in recent years. Moreover, fans wonder when he will be back in WWE as Dean Ambrose, but as of now he is happy in AEW and has a lot of years left in his contract.
