Goldust was a part of WWE for a long time and often was in and out of the company. However, his character is an iconic one which the fans will never forget. Recently, Jim Ross on his podcast Grilling Jr. said Goldust can have a match in WWE to reunite with his brother, rather than Cody Rhodes going to AEW.

The WWE Hall of Famer said, “Well, you never say never in this crazy a** business. It would be a long shot based on Dustin’s age, and [for this scenario] he’ll be moving companies. He’d have to be hired by WWE.”

The legendary commentator added, “As crazy as it sounds, Dustin getting hired for a one-off or a big match at a stadium show is more likely than Cody coming back to AEW. I might be wrong on that deal. I don’t see that happening right away because Cody is on a rocket ship.”

Dustin and Cody Rhodes were a team named The Brotherhood for a year from 2013 to 2014. They even feuded with Roman Reigns’ previous faction, The Shield, and won the tag team titles together. Further, they continued when Cody turned in Stardust and also had a feud with each other until The American Nightmare left WWE in 2016.

Nevertheless, Dustin Rhodes stated in 2021 in a tweet that he is done with Goldust and this was the era of The Natural. But as wrestling fans we know never say never and we hope to Goldust once again in WWE siding with his brother.

Jim Ross is happy with Cody Rhodes’ booking in WWE

The voice of professional wrestling gave his thoughts on Cody’s current booking in WWE. He claimed the 37-year-old chasing the title is good booking. He also believes WWE made the right decision to let Roman Reigns win at WrestleMania 39.

Ross said, “I still believe that even more strongly today because I’ve seen they’re doing stuff with Lesnar and added some new elements to that story. So I’m a big believer that the chase is the story is where the money.”
