“Embarrassing, Need to Do Better”: Fans Furious With AEW for Disrespecting Deceased Legend Owen Hart After Months of Hype Comes Crashing Down

Every year WWE 2k games make a buzz in the market. For years the WWE games have gone unchallenged. But soon AEW is launching its first video game to challenge the Stanford-based promotion in yet another business market. Pro wrestling fans are very excited about the upcoming console game and are eagerly waiting for its launch.
The Jacksonville-based promotion has been in a partnership with the Owen Hart Foundation ever since they held Owen Hart Cup tournaments in 2022. That being said, a while back, the promotion revealed that the deceased legend will also feature in the upcoming video game.
The last time Hart featured in a video game was almost 20 years ago in 2004’s Showdown: The Legend of Wrestling. Recently, his character’s first look surfaced online. However, it seems like people are not impressed with how his character looks.

Owen Hart’s first glimpse in AEW Fight Forever
A YouTube user, DenkOps, was the first to provide a glimpse of Owen Hart’s charter in the upcoming AEW Fight Forever. On his channel, he provided a detailed video to show how to play the game and control characters. The YT video is 7 minutes and 34 seconds long and also explains Road to Elite more in-depth.

Unfortunately, many fans on the internet are not impressed with how Hart’s character looks in the upcoming video game. This has led them to criticize AEW on social media platforms.
Fans are unhappy with Hart’s character look in the game
AEW Fight Forever has not even hit the market yet, and fans are already getting disappointed. Well, it is not the first time something like this has happened. The pro wrestling and video game fanatics had somewhat of the same reaction when they saw CM Punk‘s first look in the same video game.

Unfortunately, AEW has not been able to impress the fans yet. But we have high hopes that once fans get their hands on the game, it will blow their minds. AEW Fight Forever will be available to buy on June 29, 2023. Plus, the elite version of the game will be up for grabs on 28 June 2023.
