The fans are still in shock after learning that the former WWE United States Champion, Cesaro, will no longer work with WWE. The Swiss Superman didn’t renew his contract with Vince McMahon’s company.

Now, since the former SmackDown superstar is a free agent, the fans want to see Cesaro in AEW. However, AEW superstar Eddie Kingston took to his Twitter handle and expressed his emotions regarding Cesaro’s departure.

The veteran wrestler wrote on his Twitter that Cesaro does not have it in him to join AEW. Since this tweet, the fans have gone crazy because of the feud between Cesaro and Eddie Kingston.

For now, the former WWE superstar has not released any official statement. Interestingly, the Swiss Superman doesn’t have to serve the 90-day non-compete clause from WWE because they did not release him, he chose to walk out.

This means that Cesaro can appear at a wrestling event/promotion whenever and however he feels like it.

Eddie Kingston and Cesaro don’t see eye to eye

The King of Swing and The Mad King have been wresting rivals for over a decade now. Back when Cesaro didn’t wrestle for Vince McMahon, he would wrestle in promotions like CZW, PWG, and Chikara.

Kingston has never shied away from making any comment about the 41-year-old superstar. The AEW superstar once confessed that he neither likes nor holds any respect for.

This beef between the two wrestlers started in the mid-2000s, when both superstars were fairly new to the wrestling industry. The last time these two veterans locked horns was on March 13, 2011.

Interestingly, The Sultan of Swing won the match against Kingston. Since then, the two wrestlers never crossed paths. Now that the former SmackDown Superstar has finally broken the chains of WWE, he might soon become the All Elite in AEW.
