Major Update on Edge’s New AEW Schedule Comes to Light, Moments After His Thunderous Debut at WrestleDream

Edge has finally joined AEW! Although there were rumors that he is closer to the company than ever, fans never anticipated his debut to happen so quickly. The Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle went berserk when they heard The Rated R Superstar’s entry music. And now news has emerged about his future in the AEW and fans have got super excited hearing it.

Edge was one of the top stars in the WWE and fans hope that it will be the same in AEW.

After CM Punk got fired, AEW fans had just one question. Who will handle the mantle of taking AEW forward? Well, wrestling fans have got their answer now as Edge made a thunderous debut on AEW’s PPV WrestleDream.

The main event for the night revolved around Christian defeating Darby Allin 2-1 in a two-out-of-three falls match. But post the match, Darby Allen got subject to further humiliation at the hands of Christian Cage and his team members. Sting came out to make the save but the numbers game overwhelmed him. A video package played throughout the arena before Adam Copeland came out to his iconic Metalingus theme song to a thunderous reaction.

Then Copeland went into the ring and took the chair from his long-time tag team partner, Christian but started attacked Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus. He then shook hands with Darby Allen and Sting, thus announcing his arrival into the AEW. Post the match, Bryan Alvarez, who is the editor and publisher of Figure Four Weekly reported that Copeland is going to be a regular on AEW. He tweeted, “Tony says Adam Copeland is full time and will wrestle regularly”.
