9 Months After Dwayne Johnson’s Exit From DCEU, Top AEW Star Join Forces With DC

When you talk of the DCEU to wrestling fans, the first name that comes to mind is Dwayne Johnson. He played the lead protagonist in the superhero movie Black Adam. Then we have John Cena who has played the role of The Peacemaker for the series and also in the movie The Suicide Squad in 2021. Now another wrestling superstar is ready to join the DC team and enthrall the audience.

This will be the wrestling superstar’s first project which will not be connected to wrestling or himself.

AEW Champion will be making his voice acting debut in Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part Two

As in the case of top Hollywood stars like Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, and Batista. Seth Rollins soon will be joining this list after the release of his first Marvel superhero movie. The movie is named Captain America: Brave New World and it releases in 2024.

But as Rollins prepares for his villainous acting debut, another wrestling talent will be donning his voicing hat to voice a villain in the DC animated Universe. AEW’s MJF will be making his voice-acting debut in the movie Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part Two.

He will be voicing the supervillain Killer Croc in the DC animated movie. Ironically, in the comic book, Killer Croc is a sideshow wrestler. Thus MJF might actually be a perfect fit for this role.

But as MJF gears up to voice a character other than himself for the first time, Cena has already done the same before.

While John Cena is not performing in the WWE, he is busy using his other creative talents to entertain the audiences. One such hidden talent is being a voice-over actor.

John Cena has voiced a few animated characters to date. First, he voiced the Hunter Cain in Generator Rex (2010) and then the lead in the animated movie Ferdinand (2017) and also Baron Draxum in the series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2018). Apart from this Cena has voiced characters in other movies and web series.
