“Smile Through My Tears”: Mother of Future AEW Wrestler Shares Emotional Video 3 Years After His Father’s Sad Demise

While many fans get attached to pro wrestling stars, their deaths are something that has a tremendous impact on their lives. While fans do feel sad, their family members truly suffer because of their absence. It’s been three years since former WWE and AEW star Brodie Lee has passed away. While fans still feel his absence, his wife decided to share an emotional message on the late star’s death anniversary.

Brodie Lee’s wife shares AEW star’s happiest moments

In an emotional video by Amanda Huber, Lee’s wife, fans could get a glimpse of all the happy moments of the star’s life. The video, which is a collage of many moments of his life while Lukas Graham’s HERE (For Christmas) was playing in the background. Along with that, she wrote a message, “Three years…… I don’t know whether I should cry or I should smile through my tears.”

Lee or John Huber passed away on December 26, 2020. The cause of his death was a pulmonary fibrosis of unknown origin. After his demise in 2020, AEW offered his son, Brodie Huber, an official AEW contract. According to the contract, Huber’s son will debut at AEW once he finishes school. Brodie Huber is currently 11 years old. While Jr. has not signed the contract, he is an official member of his dad’s heel faction, The Dark Order.

AEW’s commentator Tony Schiavone gave a rundown of how the future AEW star was officially inducted into The Dark Order. In a moment that was taped and no audience was present, Lee Jr. had worn the mask and came out with kendo sticks to beat up some guys. Apart from that, he is already signed to AEW. Once he is of legal age, he will be contacted so that he can officially compete.

Lee Jr. had participated in a dark match as well. The young star fought against Kenny Omega and made him tap out. While MJF is the official AEW World Champion, Lee Jr. was also announced as a champion that night. Currently, Jr is training at WWE star Natalya and TJ Wilson’s gym. There he has been seen sparring with Liv Morgan, a year after his father’s demise.

The wrestling community still feels his absence and he is deeply missed. While Lee Jr. will want to walk down his father’s path in the future will be his choice. But fans would love to see him become as influential as his father was.

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
