There seems to be no escaping the hottest topic in the pro wrestling community, the AEW All In backstage footage. In an effort to play the babyface role after CM Punk gave his Ariel Helwani MMA Hour interview, Tony Khan and company found themselves in hot water. What should have brought fans back on their side by revealing what happened on that fateful day, has backfired and left fans divided. However, some are jumping on the bandwagon just for fun.

Dolph Ziggler’s brother is the most recent person to join the laundry list of people with something to say about Punk. While not in a squared circle, he did so in a standup session.

Ryan Nemeth, better known as Briley Pierce during his time in NXT, is the younger brother of Dolph Ziggler. The 39-year-old star is currently with AEW and has also been seen on Ring Of Honor. Along with being a professional wrestler, he is also a writer, actor, and comedian. Being part of AEW, Nemeth is aware of the backlash against Khan and the company, so he decided to take a jab at Punk during his standup routine. Taking to social media, he posted a video. Captioning it, he said, “Here’s a joke about the softest man alive.”

In the video, he asked the audience if there were any CM Punk fans. While the audience cheered, he said, “Warm up your triceps first.” This was a jab at Punk, injuring his tricep during the 2024 Royal Rumble match that shelved him during Mania XL.

However, the joke wouldn’t end here, as he added, “If you see any of those people walking, watch them so that they don’t break their foot. Fragile people.” This was another dig at Punk, who injured his foot in AEW in 2022. The most interesting part was using the word fragile while describing the fans. Another former WWE superstar used this particular word to take shots at the Second City Saint.

Ryback called Punk fragile during a recent online rant

Ryback called Punk “fragile Phil” in a recent online rant regarding his behavior in the backstage footage with Jack Perry. The former WWE star and current WWE star have had their fair share of issues with each other. The Chicago-based star had labeled Ryback as “unsafe” to work with, which must have provoked feelings of ill will in the former WWE star. While this labeling shocked some fans, many experts have used this term to describe Punk’s followers.

While a controversial figure in the pro wrestling industry, the former AEW star’s fans are known not to handle criticism properly, which is where the term originally originated. However, with Punk’s reputation of being injury-prone, it has gained a new meaning. What did you think of the standup bit? Do you agree with it? Did you find it funny? Tell us in the comments.
