Jon Moxley faced Dax Harwood in a singles competition for the first time in history during the latest edition of AEW Dynamite. After Blackpool Combat Club added another win over the CMLL Stars, Jon Moxley called on any team in the world to step up. FTR responded to the request immediately to start a rivalry with the BCC.
Because of this, it was agreed that Dax Harwood would face Jon Moxley on AEW Dynamite. The match was a highly anticipated one that involved a lot of punching, kicking, and kissing. Yes, you read that right, kissing. As Dax Hardwood landed a kiss before a punch in the bout. Confused? Let’s dive in, shall we?

At the beginning of the match, Jon Moxley cornered Hardwood to give him a kiss, taking advantage of the fact that it’s Valentine’s Day. And if that wasn’t enough, Dax Harwood came out of the corner and also responded with a kiss, because why not? This bizarre segment was the beginning of a high-intensity match.
Little kiss before they beat the shit out of each other. I respect it 🤣#AEWDynamite

Both fighters engaged in a rather intense duel, bringing out their best weapons to try to finish off their rival, connecting powerful attacks, even with a Dax martinet, which was resisted by Mox. Harwood took a flight from the corner, but just as he was about to fall he was caught with a rear naked choke until he finally submitted to land Moxley the win. However, Mox did not want to let go after the surrender. Cash Wheeler came to the rescue, but Claudio Castagnoli came to support his BCC teammate. And in the end, BCC stood tall over FTR. But now, it seems like the fans were not a big fan of the kissing spot.

It seems like the pro wrestling universe did not like two intense fighters kissing in the middle of the fight. Well, we can’t blame them as it does take away the sense of realism from the sport that we all so love. Even if for a gag, there are better ways, like Toni Storm’s latest promo which has been highly appreciated by fans. But what do you think was the reason behind the spot? Was it just for a gag, or perhaps a dare? Let us know in the comments.
