WWE Legend Goldberg’s AEW Debut Officially Possible After Massive Update on His Future

WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg may have wrestled his last match in WWE at the Elimination Chamber PPV against Universal Champion in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Currently, the Hall of Famer is a ‘free agent’ as his current contract with WWE expired at the recent PPV. Interestingly, AEW President Tony Khan is also making his way around the pro-wrestling industry. Multiple reports suggest that the AEW President is about to give a ‘massive update.’

Before wrestling Roman Reigns at the WWE Elimination Chamber PPV, Goldberg took to his Instagram and uploaded an emotional video where he confessed that his match against Roman Reigns might be his last match for Vince McMahon’s company.

“Possibly my final mission in the wrestling world. As you can tell I’m quite weary from the long flight as I stated that we are in Riyadh when in fact we are in Jeddah. Kind of a bittersweet trip as it may be my last here as a performer.” he wrote.

Is Goldberg moving to AEW?

AEW President Tony Khan recently signed former NXT Champion, Keith Lee. The entire pro-wrestling industry was shocked with this move; however, it looks like Khan is circling his way around to make one more ‘massive update’.

Khan promised a new signing and hinted at opening once again the Forbidden Door. Now, with Golberg’s contract expired, the fans are speculating that the former WCW Champion will make his way to Tony Khan’s ring.

Recently, Khan appeared in an interview with Busted Open Radio and said that he has been busy all week to get a new signee.

“There will be a lot of news in the week ahead. I don’t know if I’ll get it done by tonight, but stay tuned in the week ahead, hopefully. I’m working on something pretty big. It would be massive. I don’t know if it’s what anybody would expect or think it is, but it would be a big deal in pro wrestling,” he said.
