Among the qualities Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is known for, being an inspiration is on the top. Johnson is someone who lives by example and if he doesn’t do it, he doesn’t preach it. This is why he was recently grouped with a famous Marvel actor when cited as the inspiration for an iconic bodybuilder. This would not be the first time an athlete has credited The Brahma Bull for being their inspiration.

The Rock is 51 years old and is still in great shape. His recent WrestleMania XL Night #1 match proved that despite his age, his dedication to fitness remain off the charts.

He went on to explain how both those men made him feel like he was lazy, thanks to their determination and willpower to stay fit. Grillo is best known for his role as Brock Rumlow and his alter ego Crossbones. The character was in three Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Despite being older than The Rock at 58, he still maintains an excellent body and works out regularly. But what made Johnson train so hard all his life?

No man but an incident inspired The Rock to train from a young age

The fear of getting evicted is the reason why Johnson trains the way he does. Talking to BusinessInsider in 2015, Johnson said, “I really hated that feeling of helplessness and never wanted that to happen again. So, I did the only thing I could control with my own two hands in hopes that one day my family would never worry about being evicted again – I trained.”
