Hall of Fame 2024: Boxing Legend Muhammad Ali Announced as the Next Inductee After Surprise WWE 2k24 Addition

WWE is on the ‘road to WrestleMania 40’ and is uncovering several details about the event as we are moving towards the first week of April. So far, the Stamford-based company has revealed four names to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame batch of 2024 and now, the promotion has announced yet another personality.

Muhammad Ali announced to be the next WWE Hall of Famer

The international boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, will be the fifth name to be placed among the rest of the stars in the prestigious Hall of Fame. During the early days of the leading wrestling promotion, Ali helped out WWE by being a guest referee at WrestleMania 1 and being a friend to the company in general.

This made Ali credible to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The other part was done by the rest of his career, and him being an absolute legend in the career that he chose for himself.

WWE first honored him by making him a playable character in WWE 2k24 and has now announced that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. With the guest referee feature being included in the new video game, fans would be able to recreate the original scene from the inaugural WrestleMania.

Moreover, fans will also be able to teach their opponents a lesson while playing as the legendary boxer in the squared circle.

Muhammad Ali will be inducted by this close family member

The late legendary boxer could have been inducted by many great personalities who knew him up close and were also part of WWE. Fans already had their pick in mind regarding who should induct the legend into the Hall of Fame. However, Variety, upon disclosing the fact that Muhammad Ali is the fifth name to be inducted this year, also revealed the name of who would be inducting him in the first place.

Muhammad Ali’s widow, Lonnie Ali, would do the honors of inducting her late husband in the promotion’s Hall of Fame.
