Social media sensation Logan Paul has garnered a lot of praise from the wrestling world due to his performances in WWE. His massive fame as a YouTuber also helped him to get an extra edge in the Stamford-based company. However, that doesn’t mean Paul can excel in every field he has been associated with. When it comes to boxing, the promising WWE star doesn’t seem to be that great, at least according to a former WWE personality.

John Morrison takes a dig at Logan Paul’s boxing skills

Former WWE star John Morrison, who is set to make his boxing debut on April 15 against Harley Morenstein, thinks Logan Paul is not a big deal for him. He also criticized Paul for his boxing skill.

During a recent interview with WrestleBinge by Sports, the three-time intercontinental champion noted, “I don’t think he has a very good defense. He doesn’t really use his jab nearly enough. He’s wide open for check hooks and body shots. I’m pretty sure I’d knock him out in like the third round.”

However, Morrison is not the only one to take a dig at Paul’s boxing skill with MLB star also challenging him for a match.

MLB star challenged Logan Paul for a boxing fight

MLB star Jose Canseco once went back and forth with Logan Paul, who he thinks to be no good in boxing. Canseco also has some personal grudges against Paul and reportedly challenged him to a fight through a Tweet. He wrote, ‘I will fight anyone of the Logan Brothers. They have enough for anyone with any type of talent yet or fighting skills.’

The Maverick also didn’t take long to come up with a savage reply, saying, “No problem. I love smashing Cansecos,”

The duo got into a heated word war which finally ended up with Canseco asking Paul to contact his manager for a fight with a special condition of no headgear.

The multi-talented star made his boxing debut in 2018 when a fellow YouTube KSI challenged him to a fight. The duo, however, made their professional debut in November 2019 through a rematch. It resulted in Paul losing via a split decision. He then fought another match against Floyd Mayweather in 2021 and ended up losing again.

As far as WWE is concerned, Logan Paul is currently set to fight Seth Rollins on the big stage of WrestleMania this weekend.
