“I’m Sorry”: The Undertaker Ruins Mike Tyson’s Childhood With a Stellar Revelation

The Undertaker is a character that defines the childhood of several wrestling fans. He came out of the mysticism of his gimmick after retirement and gets appreciated many times for all the moments he gave to the fans. However, currently, he is the buzz of the town for ruining the childhood moments of boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Iron Mike is no new name in the world of professional wrestling to go along with an illustrious boxing career. But this time The Deadman, a childhood favorite of many people ruined Tyson’s wrestling memories.

Mike Tyson’s wrestling memories tarnished by The Undertaker

The Phenom recently appeared on ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson‘. They talked about several topics in professional wrestling. Tyson, with an interest, asked about Abdullah the Butcher and The Iron Sheik.  The boxing legend asked Taker if Abdullah was still alive, to which Calaway said yes. Furthermore, he said Abdullah lives in Atlanta and is an American. This shocked Tyson, as Abdullah was billed from Sudan in his wrestling career.

Taker said, “Yeah. (He was billed) from Sudan, but that’s a kind of difference where we at to now and where we are today with the talent to where the guys were back then. “

He added, “The guys always protected (the business). You didn’t know? Everybody believed like that Abdullah was from the Sudan. Yeah everybody did.”

Further, Iron Mike asked did The Phenom ever saw The Iron Sheik. The Undertaker recalled attending a wrestling event to watch The Sheik. He and his friend planned to talk trash to him from the audience. However, The Sheik’s one look horrified them and Taker ran away with his friend.

Tyson and The Phenom agreed that The Sheik was a scary wrestler. However, the boxing legend asked, “Where is The Sheik from?” Taker replied, “I think Detroit. (Tyson gets shocked). I’m sorry bro, I’m ruining your childhood”. This was it for Tyson to know his childhood had been a lie. He never thought Abdullah, and The Sheik were Americans.  The 2022 WWE Hall of Famer also added, how no influence from social media helped them to protect the business. 

Tyson’s wrestling knowledge surprised Taker

Taker shed a light on how still many fans like Tyson believe the kayfabe of old-school wrestlers. Also, the boxing legend impressed Taker with his wrestling knowledge, which the WWE legend appreciated.

Tyson named several wrestlers from the past that many have forgotten, even Taker. Tyson himself appeared at WrestleMania 14 as the match enforcer for Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Shawn Michaels and is also a WWE Hall of Famer.
