In 2019, Dany Garcia sat for an interview with ESPN to talk about NBC’s “The Titan Games”. However, she also shared about her relationship with The Rock post-divorce. She claimed there is a “secret sauce” that has kept them on good terms.

Garcia said, “People look at our history, and they’re like, ‘You were together, so you’re both exes. You’re “ex-people.”‘ That was how many years ago? We’re not even those people anymore. “

She added, “What it feels like is two friends who work together and have big dreams. That’s the secret sauce. We have so much history. We were so broke together. We’ve always had respect for each other, and that respect allows a friendship to continue.”

Apart from being his business partner, she is also Johnson’s manager. Since Garcia and DJ shifted their personal relationship to a professional one, Johnson saw a massive rise in his acting career. 

The Rock calls the claims of Henry Cavill firing Dany Garcia as rumors

After the unfortunate exit of Cavill from DC, the news ran of him firing Garcia as his manager. Moreover, as per the statement of Matt Belloni from The Puck, the British actor fired Garcia before his exit from DCEU.

But The Rock directly said that those claims are not true. He replied to a now-deleted tweet by The Direct, who covered Belloni’s report. He wrote, “100% not true”. Thus, claiming the news revolving around Cavill and Garcia isn’t true.
