The Gentleman then thanked everyone for their support and is optimistic for 2023 for a win in Pro-MMA. He writes, “Thank you to everyone that’s reached out. Messages of support are always welcomed and appreciated. One win and one loss in 2022; life is all about balance. Bring on 2023! But first, coffee, cake, and @clara_sinclare.🦊.x🏴☠️”
WWE released Gallagher in the year 2020, over the #SpeakOut moment as he was accused of assault, among other things. Since then, he has been away from pro wrestling and looking forward to making a full-time career in mixed martial arts.
Moreover, earlier this year in May, the 167lbs former WWE star made his debut in bare-knuckle boxing. He won his first match against Rick Caruso via KO at BKFC 25. Therefore, he might be ending the year with a loss, but he got a major victory too.

There is a reason why The Gentleman went pro in MMA this year. Prior to joining WWE, he was a part of two fights in Amateur MMA. Both of those bouts happened in the United Kingdom.
In 2015, he defeated Stefan Cowley at Night of the Gladiators 25 and in 2016; he defeated Cesar Valencia at ICE FC 13. Surprisingly, both of these victories came via submission.
