Brock Lesnar is a confident fighter and sports entertainer. The Beast Incarnate’s go-to preparation routine for a fight was workout and shadow fights and practices with his trainer about some of his opponents. He never extensively watched fight tapes of his opponent while preparing and he has said it several times. But there was one instance where we can say he was hooked to match tapes for his next opponents.
A few years ago, ahead of his UFC return, Brock Lesnar appeared for a short interview with Megan Olivi. She asked him about his UFC200 opponent, Mark Hunt, and later also asked him whether he saw any tapes of Hunt. Lesnar, who usually never tapes, watched more than he ever had.

The Conqueror said, “I’m not a huge tape guy but at this camp, I did watch probably more than I have in previous years, just to find my rhythm on my feet. I feel really comfortable about this fight, I feel really good.”
Prior to stepping into the octagon, Lesnar started his training at the camp. He had to join the camp in order to get into the shape of an MMA body, as he was in WWE at the time with a pro wrestler’s body.
There, as a part of training, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion watched several tapes. He started training after WrestleMania 31 as he was sure about leaving WWE for UFC.
However, in the end, he decided to stay as a professional wrestler when WWE offered him a part-timer’s contract on full-time pay. Since then he is the marquee superstar of WWE.

The 10-time world champion said, “In the back of my mind, I’m still working for the WWE and still staying in shape and have lots of respect for my body and wanting to compete every day. So I never stepped away from working out, exercise or anything like that”
In those five years, Lesnar had some classic matches in WWE. A couple of them are against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31. Also, he won several world championships in this period.
