Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson returned to the WWE on the Day #1 Edition of RAW this year. Not only did he get a massive pop, but he laid the foundation for the much-awaited Johnson vs. Roman Reigns match. However, within the span of just a month and a half, Johnson is now the biggest heel in the WWE. But The Rock, being The Rock, could not contain his excitement on social media for his upcoming NASCAR Daytona 500 duties contrary to his persona inside the ring.

The Daytona 500 will be taking place this Sunday, which is just a day after WWE SmackDown, where Johnson is set to appear for the first time after the Kickoff event.

Dwayne Johnson excited about his Grand Marshal duties for the Daytona 500

Taking to social media, Johnson posted, “Man I’m pumped to be the Grand Marshal for THIS SUNDAY’s ELECTRIFYING @DAYTONA 500.” Johnson will be taking up the Grand Marshal duties for the Daytona 500 event. This does come with one cool perk.

Johnson continued, “The ENERGY, the MANA, with the KINGS of the road!! I’ve always had massive respect for the drivers and this sport.” He went on to say what an honor it was to be given the chance to announce the most iconic line in NASCAR: “Drivers start your engines.” It was also interesting to see how The Rock ended his social media post with The Bloodline #1 emoji.
