A month ago in August, CJ Perry aka former WWE Superstar Lana appeared for an interview with WrestleZone. She opened the time when she was in the Surreal Life reality show with Dennis Rodman. Moreover, she recalled how the NBA legend told her to retire from professional wrestling.

Perry said, “He kept telling me, ‘hey, you gotta retire, you gotta retire and evolve’ and I was getting so annoyed. I’m like, ‘Dennis, like you literally are 60 years old and you’re still [working].”

She told Rodman that he retired late from basketball and found a new path of success. WWE released Lana in June 2021, when the company was in the Thunderdome Era and did a lot of budget cuts. Also, she hasn’t wrestled since, as she is pursuing a career in dance and music since then.

CJ Perry recalled how she impressed Dennis Rodman

While the former NBA player had advice for her, he soon took it back. After all, Perry quickly impressed him with her skills and this showed she belonged where she was.
