After ‘Break Your Legs’ Threat, Trish Stratus Takes Another Personal Dig at Becky Lynch by Referring to Her and Seth Rollins’ Daughter

The Trish Stratus–Becky Lynch rivalry has just started to simmer and with each passing day, the gravy is thickening. Both parties have fired salvos at each other. The friend-turned-foes now have dragged their children into the mix, making it a familial affair.

Just days after questioning the intelligence level of Becky Lynch’s daughter Roux, Stratus has taken another personal dig at the toddler. The recent comments come after the Irish wrestler had threatened her elder colleague with breaking her legs.

Trish Stratus’s latest warning is likely to test Becky Lynch’s daughter’s color identification skills

Cutting a promo on the latest episode of Raw, Stratus called Lynch and fellow WWE superstar Seth Rollins’ two-year-old “stupid”. Lynch made Stratus pay for the comment almost immediately as The Man made her in-ring return and slammed the Canadian native.

The 47-year-old had said that two-year-old Roux couldn’t even identify colors while backing her argument as the crowd booed her. A day later, Roux’s mother took to Twitter to let out this warning: “If you ever talk about my daughter again I’ll break your legs @trishstratuscom.” She followed it up with a video of her daughter correctly identifying the colors.

Responding to the tweet, the 7-time WWE Women’s Champion said the toddler would then know various shades of colors when she beats her mother. Stratus threatened to slap the orange off Becky Lynch’s “stupid head”.

The WWE Women’s Triple Crown Champion hasn’t reacted to the threat yet. 

Meanwhile, Stratus dragged her own daughter, six-year-old Madison, into the feud as she mentioned during her recent promo. The 47-year-old revealed that she didn’t approve of her daughter’s wish to keep her doll’s name after Lynch. The Man didn’t allow for further storytelling during the segment as she attacked her once friend.

It all unfolded (read crumbled) on April 10 at Raw. Defending their Women’s Tag Team Championship, Lynch partnered up with Stratus as Lita was taken out backstage by a mysterious person. Unfortunately for the duo, they had to drop the gold as Liv Morgan pinned the WWE Hall of Famer.

After Morgan and her partner, Raquel Rodriguez, attained mich-coveted gold, Lynch consoled her partner and said they’ll get it next time. Just moments later, Stratus attacked her in brutal fashion as she turned heel for the first time in WWE since 2005.

Days later, she appeared on Raw and made a series of stunning revelations, including cheating on The Man and purposely stripping her of the tag team gold. The 47-year-old said she was tired of being a Lynch sidekick and felt underappreciated. Stratus told the crowd that she was not a “nostalgic act”, while reminding them of her pioneering efforts in creating the WWE women’s division.

It helped further her cause as Becky Lynch remained absent from WWE. Taking advantage of the situation; she upped the ante by printing posters and garments, making fun of the absentee. However, it backfired massively as Lynch returned and attacked her from behind, taking their rivalry a notch higher.

Though nothing has been declared yet, Lynch and Stratus might go to-to-toe at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions on May 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Stratus had last fought a singles match in 2019.
